★★★★★Very happy with the work — on time, good price, and they worked around my schedule and budget. Andrei gave useful advice on foam insulation and took before-and-after photos so I could see exactly what was done.
★★★★★We had blown-in insulation added to our condo ceiling for impact noise and spray foam in a cold, damp basement ceiling. The salesperson was informative, the crew arrived on time, tented the unit, left it clean and did exactly what was contracted.
Spray polyurethane foam (SPF) is a two-component liquid — a polyol resin and an isocyanate — that is mixed and sprayed on site. It expands within seconds and cures into a rigid or semi-rigid foam that insulates and air-seals in one step, and also acts as a vapor retarder. Open-cell foam is lighter and ideal for interior walls and soundproofing; closed-cell foam is denser, moisture-resistant and adds structural rigidity.
In most Bay Area homes, yes. Spray foam costs more upfront, but it seals the air leaks fiberglass and blown-in cannot, so most homeowners see a 30–50% reduction in heating and cooling costs. It also reduces moisture intrusion and mold risk, adds structural strength (closed-cell) and never sags or settles. Fiberglass and blown-in remain good choices for budget projects or retrofits where full air sealing is not the goal — and we install those too.
A typical single-family attic, wall or crawlspace project takes 1–2 days. Commercial jobs or whole-building encapsulation usually run 3–5 days. Closed-cell foam cures fully in about 24 hours; open-cell is ready for drywall within a few hours. You receive a written project timeline before work begins.
Yes. All occupants, including pets, should be out of the house during application and for at least 24 hours afterward while the foam off-gasses and cures. Once cured, the material is inert and non-toxic. Our crew walks you through preparation and safe re-entry timing.
Absolutely. Spray polyurethane foam roofing is seamless, self-flashing and highly energy-efficient. Finished with a UV-protective silicone or acrylic top coat, it lasts 20+ years with periodic recoating. It is one of the most popular systems in the Bay Area for commercial buildings, warehouses, flat-roof apartment complexes and older homes with built-up tar roofs.
Yes — as a standalone service or as part of a re-insulation package. We vacuum out old fiberglass batts, deteriorated blown-in and damaged spray foam, bag and dispose of it (including rodent-contaminated material), then inspect the substrate and address any moisture or mold issues before new insulation goes in.
