Industrial Coatings & Sandblasting in the Bay Area & Northern California

Abrasive blasting to SSPC/NACE standards and spec-driven protective coatings — high-build epoxy, urethane, polyurea, chemical-resistant tank linings and spray fireproofing — for storage tanks, structural steel, concrete, containment and equipment.

Industrial sandblasting and protective coating of structural steel

Industrial Coating Contractors Serving the Bay Area and Northern California

Corrosion, coating failure and surface degradation are preventable — but only with correct surface preparation and a coating system matched to the exposure. USA Spray Me provides turnkey industrial coating services: abrasive blasting of steel, concrete, masonry and fiberglass to SSPC/NACE standards, followed by spec-driven application of high-build epoxies, UV-stable urethanes, heavy-duty polyurea, chemical-resistant linings and spray-applied fireproofing. Surface prep, blasting and coating are all done by our own crews with quality control at every stage.

We serve refineries and terminals in Richmond, Martinez and Benicia; Port facilities in Oakland and Redwood City; food and beverage plants in Hayward, San Leandro and Fairfield; wineries and tank farms in Napa, Sonoma and Livermore; and manufacturing, water/wastewater and municipal facilities throughout Northern California.

Coating Systems We Apply

  • High-build epoxy — steel and concrete in atmospheric and immersion service; 10–20 year tank linings
  • Aliphatic urethane top coats — UV-stable, color- and gloss-retentive exterior finishes over epoxy primers
  • Polyurea — fast-cure, flexible, abrasion-resistant floors, containment and equipment
  • Chemical-resistant linings — novolac epoxy, vinyl ester and polyurethane for tanks, trenches and containment
  • Zinc-rich primers — galvanic protection for structural steel
  • Spray-applied fireproofing (SFRM) — cementitious and mineral-fiber fireproofing of beams, columns and decking to meet San Francisco and California building codes
  • Mineral wool fireproofing — board and batt systems for ducts and structural members

Tank Linings and Corrosion Repair

We reline and recoat storage, process and containment vessels inside and out — from wine and food-grade tanks to water, chemical and fuel storage. Services include full interior relining, targeted pit and corrosion repair, exterior recoating, insulation with spray foam and protective jacketing, and scheduled maintenance programs that catch failures before they shut you down. Confined-space-trained crews, dehumidification and holiday (spark) testing are standard on immersion work.

Containment, Dust Control and Downtime

Many of our clients cannot shut down. We build full containment with negative air and HEPA filtration for blasting inside occupied facilities, recycle abrasive where possible, and use fast-cure systems and phased scheduling to return areas to service quickly. Submittals, SDS, DFT reports and warranty documentation are provided for every project. Typical service life: epoxy tank linings 10–20 years, structural steel coatings 15–25 years, industrial floor systems 5–15 years — surface preparation quality being the single biggest factor.

Industrial Coatings & Sandblasting FAQs

What is industrial coating and where is it used?

A protective layer that prevents corrosion, chemical attack, abrasion and moisture intrusion on storage and process tanks, structural steel, warehouse beams and racks, industrial floors, containment areas, equipment and piping.

What surfaces can you sandblast and coat?

Steel and other metals (beams, tanks, equipment, racks, platforms), concrete (floors, walls, containment, slabs), masonry (brick and block) and fiberglass (tank linings, containment repairs), all prepared to SSPC/NACE standards.

What types of industrial coatings do you apply?

High-build epoxy, UV-stable urethane top coats, heavy-duty polyurea, chemical-resistant tank and containment linings, zinc-rich primers and spray-applied or mineral wool fireproofing.

What sandblasting standards do you follow?

SSPC-SP 6 commercial blast for general service, SSPC-SP 10 near-white for high-performance systems and SSPC-SP 5 white metal for immersion or severe service, with full containment and dust control for occupied or environmentally sensitive sites.

How long do industrial coatings last?

Epoxy tank linings 10–20 years, structural steel coating systems 15–25 years, industrial floor systems 5–15 years. Surface preparation quality is the most important factor in service life.

Do you handle tank linings and corrosion repair?

Yes — interior and exterior tank coatings, full relinings, targeted corrosion repair and maintenance programs for storage, process and containment vessels, including confined-space work and holiday testing.

Can you perform spray fireproofing?

Yes — spray-applied fireproofing on beams, columns and decking, plus mineral wool fireproofing, compliant with San Francisco and California building codes, with on-site assessment and submittals.

How do I get a quote?

Send photos, drawings, measurements or specifications to [email protected] or call (855) 566-5340 (Mon–Sat 7 AM–6 PM). We will scope the work, recommend a system and provide a free estimate; large projects get an on-site assessment.
